I am writing to invite you to attend the fourth
annual BBQ for HIV+ heterosexuals, and their friends and family members, at Vasona
Lake Park in Los Gatos, California ,on Saturday September 1st, Labor Day Weekend.
The BBQ will start around noon and will last until about 6:00 PM. Following the
BBQ there will be an after-party
-most likely at one of the many fine nightclubs in the downtown San Jose area. The
following day, Sunday, will have us caravaning to the beach and boardwalk at Santa
Cruz for further fun and frolic. Bring swimwear if you
feel like taking a dip in the Pacific Ocean.

Please be advised that alcohol is allowed at Vasona Park, but drunkeness is not. If
you consume alcohol please do it in moderation, both at the park, and at any other
venues where alcohol is available.

If you are interested in coming out and having some fun and socialization with your
positive peers, please R.S.V.P. ASAP so we can start planning the logistics and
other such stuff. Those of you living in the bay area are invited to bring your own
BBQ goodies.. and maybe a lil' extra for those coming from out of town. For those
coming from outside of the bay area transport from airports, hotels and the BBQ will
be gladly provided. There are a number of relatively inexpensive hotels in the area,
so if you need hotel accomodations please let me know so I can get the info for you.
There's a good chance we can get a decent group rate if enough people are in need
of hotel accomodations, and if the reservations are done in a timely manner.

I hope to see a lot of people attend this year. This will be a great chance for
everyone to make new friends, and renew old accquaintances. Feel free to post or
pass this invitation to others that may be interested in this kind of gathering. Hope to
